The world’s most popular car-related TV show, produced in the U.K., is Top Gear. Lately, BBC America has been showing more reruns of Top Gear from past seasons and fewer new episodes from the 2010 season. Maybe they are holding back because the History Channel will begin airing a U.S. version of Top Gear. As we anxiously await, today the History Channel gives us a preview of what to expect from the team, and so far, it looks pretty good.
The visual style will be familiar to anyone that’s seen the original U.K.-version, though the tone and demeanor of hosts Adam Ferrara, Tanner Foust and Rutledge Wood are all-American. In this teaser clip, each host gets hold of their favorite Lamborghini and try to convince each other that theirs is the baddest bull of them all.
