Corvettes in Paradise 2008

Chevrolet Feature Articles

This beautiful 1960 Corvette had beauty and brawn. Along with the immaculate paint job was a ZZ4 350 V8 engine under the hood, driven with a 5-speed manual and controlled with a Wilwood big brake kit.

Enthusiasts who put devote a lot of time and hard work into their show cars are a proud breed. I can barely begin to describe the numerous hours spent working the fine details that 9 out of 10 people will not recognize. Working on cars usually involves bruised knuckles, bloody fingers, and lots of callouses, but that’s just the labor of love involved with creating a show car. There is no real payoff for investing a ton of time and money into a show car except maybe a small trophy, some recognition from their peers, and huge satisfaction from a job well done.
