Yokohama Hitting the Car Club Show Circuit at Three Fall Events

Press and News

FULLERTON, CA. – Yokohama Tire Corporation is continuing to reach out to enthusiasts through grassroots programs, such as its involvement in three upcoming car shows: the Z Car Convention in San Antonio, Texas; BMW Oktoberfest in Braselton, Georgia; and Japanese Classic Car Show in Irvine, California.

“Car-club events such as these enable us to interact with loyal customers and introduce our products to new customers interested in advanced technology,” said Fred Koplin, Yokohama director, marketing communications. “We’re especially excited about our full line of ultra high-performance tires, including the new ADVAN Neova® AD08 and the ADVAN Sport ZPS® (Zero Pressure System) runflat tire, as well as our orange-oil infused dB Super E-specTM tire – all of which will be on display.”

Yokohama is a Gold sponsor of the five-day Z Car Convention (September 28-October 2), the national meeting of the Z Car Club of America, and will have a display and handout literature. Yokohama is the OE on the Nissan 370Z and exclusive OE on the Nismo Z.

The BMW Car Club Association’s largest national gathering convenes at the weeklong Sept. 28-Oct. 4 BMW Oktoberfest, and Koplin says Yokohama “will be there in force” with a prominent booth.

The Japanese Classic Car Show (October 3), features an array of “old school” Japanese car brands. Yokohama is an official sponsor and will have a display.
