2011 Kia Optima

The Optima is Kia’s midsize sedan that is redesigned for 2011 with much more expressive styling that continues Kia’s trend of dramatic styling changes for new models. The 2011 Optima features a new design language for Kia with a very streamlined profile that is both athletic and elegant. Longer, wider and lower than the previous model, the new Optima offers an available new turbocharged engine and an Optima Hybrid model will follow in 2011.

Powered by a 200-horsepower 2.4-liter GDI engine, the Optima is rated at 24/35 mpg city/hwy when equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission and 24/34 with the electronically-controlled 6-speed automatic. A 274-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged engine powers the EX Turbo and SX trim levels and is rated at 22/34 mpg with the 6-speed Sportmatic Automatic.
