The 2011 Infiniti QX56 is a 4-door, up to 8-passenger luxury sport-utility, available in two trims, the 2WD and the 4WD. The Infiniti QX56 4WD has a 7 Speed Automatic transmission and a 5.6-liter, V8, 400-horsepower engine.

The all-new 2011 Infiniti QX56 features bold new styling, a more efficient direct-injection 5.6-liter V8 engine and a top-level luxury interior. The new design features a signature Infiniti grille flanked by xenon headlights, integrated fog lights, LED taillights and distinctive fender vents. The new 5.6-liter V8 produces 400 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque, and is combined with a 7-speed automatic transmission. Features include standard Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation System, Around View Monitor, Bose 13-speaker Premium Audio System, available perforated semi-aniline leather seating and an available Tri-Zone Entertainment with dual 7-inch color monitors. Innovative technology includes Blind Spot Warning and an advanced Hydraulic Body Motion Control system.
