Marissa and Kim may not have the high profile like Danica Patrick, but their enthusiasm with motorsports runs just as strong.

It is not judging women on whether they can drive or not. It is commenting on a few women that are not only excellent racers but just happen to look good as well.

Leilani Münter is exploiting the fact that she looks good, she is the Lucky Jeans Model, and has had her image plastered all over magazines.

I don’t take anything away from any of these girls, but until recently, racing has been a man’s sport. So naturally, guys hear about girls in racing and of course the first thing they are going to do is wonder if she is hot. Deep down inside, that is every guy’s dream. And if you say its not, then you’re lying to yourself on some level.

I have raced against Sara Fisher (Although its was back in her dirt racing days) and I sucked at Late Models. And have raced against Katherine Legge in some SCCA events at the Club Level. Those girls have earned everything they have got. They have worked hard to get where they are, and in this day and age, if being an excellent female racer and good looking is working for you… then I say use every weapon in your arsenal to get where you want to go in life.

As my wife (who is hot and an excellent track day driver, by the way) always says. “Hey, you have to use your gifts, otherwise, what good are they?”
