The wait continues for Sony’s popular racing series.
Those of you looking to play racing-simulator Gran Turismo 5 are going to have keep their Playstation 3 in the paddock until winter is over. SCEA Associate producer Chris Hinojosa-Miranda did not give a firm release date for GT5, but said last week the game will be released sometime in summer 2010.
Polyphony Digital, the developer of GT5, is going to make the long delay a little easier with a special demo that will be released Dec. 17th for Playstation Network. The demo will feature a time-trial challenge that will let players pilot a stock and tuned version of Nissan’s 370z. Sony will give the person with the fastest combined lap times two VIP tickets to Indy 500.
