I love my Caliber and would be in to buying the 2012, but I want the hatchback. It’s extremely useful. If no hatchback, I would not have bought the Caliber in the first place. That feature waas the deal breaker – the fact that it is a small crossover SUV-type vehicle. Without it, it’s just another compact. Meh.

Nice looking car, but I’m not convinced Fiat products are reliable. It abandoned North America 30 years ago because of mechanical problems and numerous warranty claims, and from what I see in the J.D. Power ratings in Europe, Fiat vehicles are rated poorly there today. Would like to believe Fiat has improved its quality, but I think it will be an uphill battle. Nice designs, though.
