Much more power with the same gas mileage.

If you have more than 1,000 miles on your Fit, then have it checked out. Low twenties is way too low for the Fit with regards to fuel economy.

Some motors need a break-in period before they achieve their optimum gas mileage.

I’ve been watching the rpms but maybe not closely enough. I’ve gotten, 21, 22, 24, 28, then 22 again on my new 5 speed automatic sport. It’s disappointing. The 28 was when I was on the highway more. Otherwise, I’m light to light around town and probably do accelerate too fast. Should I take it in to be checked or is it just me?
