I’ve heard about this and if I remember right, there are two ways it can be used. One is the algae is used to make ethanol, because it’s a very fast and renewable source of plant material. And I think the other has something to do with hydrogen. I can’t remember the details, though.

If you know anything else about how algae would be used as fuel, please give us some more info.
