The Google Earth/Maps/Local Search is already being used in Europe. The final paperwork has not been approved and signed-off for the US market. Once the lawyers are satisfied, this option will be available to US buyers of the A8, A7, and A6.

Confirm this with your Audi dealership. If you are not 100% confident, then wait until late spring or summer before placing your order.

Also, the A7 and new A6 will have this sophisticated navigation system as an available option.
