I bought mine a year ago, and love everything about it except the gas mileage, and the sticker price, but compare prices to Porsche Cayenne Turbo S and this is a far better deal!

I love the fact that I have that much power underneath me, and can take almost any car on the road. Yet at the same time, I can fit 4 passengers which is more than enough for my outings, if I need to it has more than enough cargo space for me to put bags of groceries etc , and the seats fold down to throw my bike in etc. If I wanted somethig to carry firewood or lumber or heavy loads i'd buy a pickup truck!

I feel safe riding around in a 5200 lb "sports car", and I sit high enough off the ground that it makes me feel even that much more safer. The performance is phenomenal.

Finally this is one unique looking beast. I get more compliments than I have with any of the other vehicles I have previously owned. YOu either love the way it looks or hate it!

I believe this car has the same issues the AMC Pacer had in the 70's.Overweight with a a purposeless design .If this were based on the 1 series and had a hybrid and diesel options it would work. This was a poorly conceived and executed product. It say's a lot about how off course BMW has gotten. From the retro styling on the 7 and 5 series to the X6 it's time for BMW to take stock and change course or Audi will eat there lunch.

Fabulous photos first of all. The red car really shines in those settings.

So it looks like a very high-end niche category and BMW executed it right. In the end, not a lot of people can/will buy it but it still brings respect and awe for the BMW brand
