]]> http://reviews.carreview.com/2009-la-auto-show-focuses-on-the-future-of-small-cars#comment-1050 Fri, 15 Jan 2010 22:37:05 +0000 http://reviews.carreview.com/?p=13080#comment-1050 Just read about the $2,500 2clydinder Tata Nano being shown at the Detriot Auto.It is supposed to be much like the Euro version which will retail for $8,000.00 without shipping ,air con or even a rear hatch.Since Nissan/Renault and Hyundai sells car’s for 10k with twice the cylinders and loads of luxury’s compared to the emerging market Nano..We can build an $8,000.00 car in this country that would be far superior .Ford and GM already builds cars that would sell for less outside the US.We should start building those cars in our shuttered plants across.The day’s of building car’s that cost more then $30,000.00 is dead and all Auto makers should wake up .If anything it would eat into the used car sales & not cannibalize new sales
