The 2009 Acura TL is a 4-door, 5-passenger luxury sedan, or luxury sports sedan, available in 5 trims, ranging from the 5-Spd AT to the 5-Spd AT SH-AWD w/Technology Package HPT. The TL has a 5 Speed Automatic transmission, 3.7-liter V6, 305-horsepower engine, and is is all-new with fresh styling and new performance features.

The TL will be offered for the first time with the brand’s Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD). Two new powerplants are available: a 3.5-liter 280-horsepower V6 and 3.7-liter 305-horsepower, the latter being the most powerful engine in the Acura lineup. In addition to the updated styling, the new TL has increased in size providing a more spacious interior. A new Technology Package is available, featuring such items as Keyless Access System with push-button start, Acura Navigation System with Voice Recognition, AcuraLink real-time traffic, real-time weather with Doppler-style radar mapping, the Acura/ELS Surround premium audio system, and Bluetooth Audio connectivity.

3.7-liter, V6, 305-horsepower, engine that achieves 17-mpg in the city and 25-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed automatic transmission is standard.
